Bare Dog Nutrition evolved through having a long-term interest in food and wellbeing, as well as wanting to know that our biscuits and treats capture the best, health orientated ingredients and use them to their maximum benefit with none of the ‘Nasties’ that can be found in some mass-produced products
Always wanting the best products for my ‘Bears’, (hence where part of the name came from, although we changed the spelling to highlight ‘Stripped Back & Natural’), and using my culinary experience I set out to produce amazing treats for our amazing ‘Best Friends’.

MY BIO
My name is Matt and I’m the Owner, Head Baker and Chief ‘Furry-Belly’ Filler for the business. I started the business while living in the New Forest, where I was also lucky enough to be close to some lovely beaches too.
Being a Chef in high-end corporate hospitality for over 25 years, I wanted to produce a product that, as for all the guests I’ve had the pleasure to cook for, has been made with passion and the emphasis on ‘Fresh is Best’
There’s no large batch production, and all orders are created with love, using a diverse range of ingredients, carefully prepared, which helps to create amazing treats
Your pet’s well-being is very important to me and the quality of food that they eat. Too much junk in pet food can affect their health and create behavioural issues, so our biscuits are tested and loved by countless dogs and our care and attention is appreciated by their caring owners

Kal:
Being my first ‘Large Bear’ he is the inspiration for producing no nonsense biscuits and treats as he always politely refused the mass-produced variety. His breed is also the reason for our choice of company colours which he shows off magnificently unless he’s doing his second favourite thing, after eating Bare Dog Nutrition treats, of swamping!
Mosi:
Being the younger bear and son of Kal, he took his staff duties very seriously. New flavour tasting days were his favourite, and he loved sharing samples with new friends when out in the New Forest.
